I write sometimes! mostly essays and poetry. I don't share a lot of it as it's not very good, but I want it to have somewhere public to live :)

Bay Sestina

A sestina is a very scripted form of poetry with six verses of six lines, each ending with the same words in different orders. The end may also feature a set of three lines. I really enjoyed working with the rigidity of the structure and different meanings and motifs, even if I don't feel like this piece is complete. tw: themes of sexual assault and manipulation.

Geese 2

This is a piece i wrote as a response to Mary Oliver's wild geese after being manipulated and sexually harassed when I was 16 during a spiritual/mental health camping experience. It's older and I feel you can tell from the voice, but I don't want to edit it as it was true to my experiences when I wrote it.
